Year on year our licensee scheme is growing from strength to strength with both high street and independent business wanting to become a part of the UK wool story. As of January 2025, Ulster Wool Partners British Wool have 158 UK brand partners as well as many more from Europe & Asia.

We help promote and support these brands and their certified products for us to drive demand for their products and generate continued commitment and competition for the raw fibre itself. Their success is our success.

Arthur Beale has been at the forefront of adventure equipping voyagers, wayfarers, vagabonds and pioneers for their various adventures for many centuries. Their UK wool knitwear has been used on both Polar and Everest Expeditions and our famous customers include Shackleton and Mallory and many more! Focusing on traditional, functional woollen clothing designed to last.

Puffin Packing

100% wool insulating packaging.

Puffin Packaging is making waves in the industry with their latest innovation. In 2024 they launched a certified 100% wool cold chain packaging product. This groundbreaking achievement underscores Puffin’s dedication to UK sheep farmers, sustainability and cutting-edge solutions in packaging.

Bronte Glen

Based in a working mill in Keighley, West Yorkshire, Bronte Glen is a small family business built on a passion for textiles machines and manufacturing processes.

They have certified their range of pillows and duvets including cushion inserts using fine and medium type wools. In additional they sell filling & neps which can be used for existing cushions/padding or craft projects etc.

Lawrence & Barnes

Lawrence & Barnes is a contemporary UK brand that celebrates the essence of wool. Passionate about quality, craftsmanship, and sustainability, we use 100% wool to create timeless, elegant interior products entirely made in the UK. The collection of bedding & blankets epitomises contemporary & sustainable elegance, embracing slow living, provenance, and social responsibility.

Merrick

Scottish Blackface Knitwear.

A pioneering social enterprise within the UK’s largest UNESCO Biosphere launched its first high-end, sustainable outerwear knitwear collection, entirely designed and made in the UK.

The knitwear is crafted from 100% Scottish Blackface wool, inspired by the strength and endurance of the majestic Blackface ram—a true symbol of resilience. These remarkable sheep thrive in the rugged landscapes, their thick, durable fleece protects them through rain, snow, and the heat of summer, a testament to nature’s ingenuity.

All profits are reinvested into the Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Biosphere Partnership, supporting community development, heritage preservation, education, and conservation projects across this globally significant natural and cultural landscape in southern Scotland.

Lamb Cosy

Lamb Cosy wool jackets are 100% wool lamb coats designed to reduce losses in the first few days of life. They aid quicker turnout, reducing chance of infection and aiding growth without having to worry about losses due to hypothermia.

Lamb Cosy wool jackets are designed and manufactured in Yorkshire by local businesses.

Linwood

Linwood launched their new Romney collection in October 2024 to the interior design marketing. A brand new cloth quality, woven from 100% Romney sheep, giving a luxurious texture and sheen. Piece-dyed in an alluring array for colour options from vivid yellows to deep russet tones.
