Wool Innovators Project with Sentinus - Focus on Hamiltonsbawn Primary School
Hamiltonsbawn Primary School is situated on the outskirts of the village of Hamiltonsbawn, Co.Armagh. With many children having links to the local farming community and being an Eco School, this project felt like the perfect venture for our keen Key Stage 2 pupils.
We have a sheep farmer in the class. He and some others have told me what they are most excited about.
Lewis - I'm looking forward to finding out how I can use the wool from my sheep.
Jesse - I want to find out if there are different types of wool and if they are used for different purposes.
Elsa - I am excited that our project will be displayed at the Balmoral Show - I have never been there before, so that will be very special.
