Wool Innovators Project with Sentinus - Focus on Kilmoyle Primary School
Kilmoyle Primary School is a rural school which is in Ballybogey. We are 4 miles from Ballymoney and 8 miles from Portrush. We have 97 pupils in the main school and 16 pupils in our nursery unit. Our principal is called Mr Scott. We have 28 pupils in our P6/7 composite class and our teacher is Mrs Gaston.
Thank you very much for choosing our school to take part in the Ulster Wool project in partnership with Sentinus. We wanted to join the project because many of us have relatives from a farming background and we are excited about working with Ulster Wool. We also enjoy science and as the project links science and wool, we thought it would be perfect for us. We took part in the Sentinus Bridge to France programme last year and had a brilliant time. We are delighted to get the opportunity to take part in another Sentinus project as they are always very well-resourced. The Ulster Wool project has lots of practical activities, resources, and valuable teacher guidance. The Wool Innovators showcase event at the Balmoral show will be an exciting ending to the project.
